Pearl Mcdonald

Asheville - Pearl Louise Birmingham McDonald, 71, of 249 Stradley Mt. Rd. died Sunday September 16, 2001 at her home after an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she attended Reeves Chapel United Methodist Church until her declining health prevented her from attending. She was the daughter of the late Ervin B. and Stella May Fletcher Birmingham and the wife of the late Wade McDonald. Surviving are her son, Gary McDonald of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Patrick and Kasey McDonald both of Hendersonville; several nieces, nephews and close friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Entombment will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
