Pauline Haney

Asheville - Pauline Jenkins Haney, 86, left this world to be with her Lord Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the Pisgah Manor Health Care Center. A native of Bryson City, Mrs. Haney had resided most of her life in Buncombe County. She was a former dietician with Aston Park Health Care Center, and was a member of Asheville Wesleyan Church. Mrs. Haney was the daughter of the late Peter and Emma Jane Ball Jenkins, and the wife of the late James Haney. She was also preceded in death by a son, Terry Lee Haney; grandson, Billy Haney, Jr.; four sisters and one brother. Surviving are her son, Billy Joe Haney and wife Melanie; grandchildren: Beth Robinson (Jeff), Cynthia Burgess (Rex), James Haney, and Clint Haney (Stephanie); eight great-grandchildren, and three great, great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Louis Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 3:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
