Paula Carolyn White

Paula Carolyn White, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Mission Hospital.

 A resident of Clyde, NC, she was a daughter of the late James H. Jones, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth McFall Jones. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Ann Upchurch; sister, Lynnette Etherton and husband Dewey; brother-in-law, Bob Clark; and niece, Tammie Stoss.

 Paula was a longtime member of Fincher's Chapel United Methodist Church. She loved her family deeply and will be greatly missed.

 Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Richard “Rick” White; daughters: Elizabeth Johnson and husband Ben, and Amber Ann White; grandchildren: Kristine Davis and husband Rick, and Thomas Johnson and wife Jessica; great-grandchildren: Avenlei, and Breighan; sister, Sarah Clark; and nieces: Danine Ledford and husband Rick, Diana Chambers and husband Phillip, and Darlene Clark.

 Memorial services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Fincher's Chapel United Methodist Church, 2883 Hyder Mt. Road, Clyde, NC 28721, with Rev. Kitty Crain officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

 The family will receive friends from 1 till 1:45 PM on Thursday at the church.
