Patty Moody

Asheville Patricia Kay Patty Lassiter Moody, 57, of 206 Brevard Road, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the Brookside Rehabilitation and Care Center, Burnsville. Patty was born June 7, 1958 in Wyandotte, MI and had resided in Asheville since she was a year old. She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church and a 1976 graduate of Clyde A. Erwin High School. She was a daughter of the late Earl Patrick Max Lassiter and Jeanette Susie Robinson Lassiter and was also preceded in death by her brother, Keith Lassiter. Surviving are her son, Jason Daniel King (Jenny) of Waynesville; daughter, Bobbie Michelle Poulsen (Jason) of Augusta, GA; three grandchildren; sisters, Maxine Lassiter Fugate (Jim) of Waynesville, Barbara Ann Davis (Gary) and Eva Jean Kestner (Bob) all of Asheville and Diane Lassiter Stevens (Bruce) of Leicester; brother, Frank F. Lassiter (Mary Ann) of Alpharetta, GA and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 3 PM Saturday, September 12, 2015 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following services at the funeral home.
