Patricio Obispo Ramirez

Asheville – Patricio Obispo Ramirez, 62, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 at his residence. A native of Pohnpei Micronesia he resided in Asheville, NC for the past 2 years. He was a son of the late Arsenio Ramirez and Hermina Obispo Ramirez, and was also preceded in death by his sisters: Hilaria, Patricia, Maria, and Denkak Wihda; and brothers: Misiuo, Francisco, Kaspar, and Ambrosio. Surviving are his wife, Haraline Route Ramirez of Micronesia; children: Sylvia Mudong and husband Welperson of Asheville, Roger Ramirez of Micronesia, and Ivyleen Kilmete and husband Harvey of Kansas; grandchildren: Junior Mudong, Jermain Mudong, Ro-ahn Luha, Dolomoni, Patrico “Rio”, Carvey, and I-Anna; sister, Selihnah Ramirez of Micronesia; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 PM Saturday, August 29, 2020 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 12 PM as well as following services on Saturday at the funeral home. Following services in Asheville, NC he will return to Awak, Uh, Micronesia for burial in the Ramirez family cemetery.
