Patricia Rose Jones

Candler - Patricia Jones, 67, went home to be with her Lord with her family by her side Sunday, December 12, 2004, at the Mountain Area Hospice Solace Center after an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she retired from Cardinal Healthcare, formerly American Threshold. She was the daughter of the late Jennings Coy and Verla Mae Biggs Buckner. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jennings Coy Buckner, Jr. Surviving are her husband, John Earl Jones of the home; her two children: Ricky Earl Jones and his wife Dora Lynn of Canton, and Kimberly Mae Warren and her husband Ronald Kenneth of Candler; her grandchildren: Jennifer Marie Shope, David Allen Buckner, and Jeremy Brandon Jones; a great-granddaughter, Alexa Rain Jones; her sister, Virgie Lee Ogle of West Asheville; her brother, Kenneth and his wife Mary Helen Buckner of West Asheville, her sister-in-law, Eleanor Buckner of West Asheville; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday in Green Hills Cemetery, with the Rev. Jackie Collins officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 PM Wednesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to: Mountain Area Hospice, P.O. Box 25338, Asheville, N.C. 28813.
