Patricia "Pat" Jones

Asheville – Patricia “Pat” Mae Jones, 81, of 3 Brickyard Drive, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she formerly was employed with Belding Corticelli Inc for over 10 years. She was a daughter of the late William E. Jones and Pearl Ann Sherlin Jones and was also preceded in death by her companion of over 27 years, Kenneth Metcalf and siblings, Lou “Sis” Chastain, Earl “Pet” Jones, Kenneth Jones, Shirley McElreath and Tom Jones. Surviving are her daughters, Renee Banks and husband Billy of Asheville, Evelyn Hyatt and husband Bobby of Candler and Martha Sherlin of the home; 3 grandchildren, Rachel Hyatt, Lee Banks and Michael Harrin; 4 great grandchildren, Camillia, Kennedy, Malachi and Clancy; her companions children, Sherry Rider and Tony Metcalf and his children, Sawyer and Mason; sister, Norma Cole of TN; brothers, Bill Jones of TX and Carl Jones and wife Joan of Hendersonville and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, January 24, 2022 at Calvary Churchyard with Rev. Gwen Hall officiating.
