Montgomery, Illinois - Patricia Jean Knapp, 42, of 2274 Jericho Rd. Apt. C-2 , formerly of Asheville, Died Thursday August 29, 2002 at the Provena Mercy Center in Aurora, Illinois. A native of West Frankfort, Illinois, she moved to Buncombe County in 1995 and returned to Montgomery, Illinois in 2000. She was a daughter of the late John Benjamin and Mary Helen Gunter Chase and the wife of the late David Lee Knapp. Surviving are her daughter, Tonya Sue Moore of the home; sons, Charles Benjamin Murray of Asheville and Nicholas Avery Knapp of the home; sisters, Judith K. Forbes of North Aurora, Illinois, Linda Sue Miller of Round Lake Beach, Illinois, Mary Louise Chase of West Franklin, Illinois and Angela Marie Mountain of Kenosha, Wisconsin; brothers, John Eugene Gunter and James Arthur Chase both of Decatur, Illinois, Donald Raye Chase of Newton, Iowa and Lloyd Walter Chase, III of Decatur Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Brockwell officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 P.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
