Patricia Jarrett Burcham

Candler Patricia Ann Jarrett Burcham, 83, of 5 Parkview Drive, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Mrs. Burcham was a native and resident most of her life of Buncombe County and retired in 2000 having served many years in the nursing profession. She was a daughter of the late Nesbitt Nathaniel and Bonnie Patricia Hyatt Jarrett and was also preceded in death by her brother Everett Sonny Jarrett, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Walter Tipton Tip Burcham of the Home; son, David Bell of Greensboro; step sons, James Gordon Burcham, Clayton Eugene Burcham and Walter Lee Burcham all of Greensboro; sister, Jean Jarrett of St. Louis, MO; nieces, Ava Morgan of Leicester and Cindy Karius of Aiken, SC and nephew, Everett Jarrett, Jr. of Reidsville. Funeral service will be held 2 PM Monday, July 20, 2015 in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Stan Welch officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Enka. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to West Asheville Baptist Church, 926 Haywood Road, Asheville, NC 28806 or to Arthritis.org.
