Oscar Alfred Hayes

Asheville Oscar Alfred Hayes, 65, of Asheville, passed away Friday, June 4, 2010 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Washington County, TN, Oscar had resided in Buncombe County for the past 30 years. He was the son of the late Oscar Guy and Anna Kate Surcey Hayes. Surviving are his sister, Mary Bailey of Asheville, and many friends. Gravesides services will be held at 2 PM Monday at Green Hills Cemetery, with the Rev. John Warren officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-8 PM Sunday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
