Odessa Lou Duckett

Asheville - Odessa Lou Williams Duckett, 76, of 22 Laurel Avenue, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals following a period of declining health. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Duckett was the daughter of the late John and Lucy Bell Williams. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Bruce Duckett, of the home; sons: Larry Duckett of Asheville, and Dr. Ricky David Duckett of Arden; and a grandson, David Duckett. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Friday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, with the Rev. James Stewart officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601-7633.
