Norma Whittemore Morgan

November 27, 1934 — August 10, 2023

Fletcher – Norma Lee Whittemore Morgan, 88, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at her residence.


A native and resident for most of her life of Buncombe County, she had resided in Henderson County for the past 20 years. She retired in 2001 from the Buncombe County School Systems, where she worked in transportation as a Safety Assistant on the School Bus, and was a member of the Biltmore Church of God.


She was a daughter of the late Talmadge and Grady Gasaway Whittemore, and the wife of Paul Ernest Morgan, Sr. who died January 12, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Webb and brothers: Roy and Allden Whittemore.


Surviving are her son, Paul E. Morgan, Jr. and wife, Karen of Fletcher; son-in-law, Eddie Webb of Weaverville; grandsons: Bailey Morgan, Michael Webb, Ryan Webb, and Eli Webb; granddaughter, Kinsley Morgan; sister, Lois Capps of Easley, SC; brother, John Whittemore of Brevard, and several nieces and nephews.


Private entombment will be at 3:00 PM Monday, August 14, 2023, at Pisgah View Memorial Park, with Rev. Dale Whitson presiding with a prayer as she had requested.
