Norma Moore

Marshall Norma Jean Teague Moore, 78, of 140 Graham Road passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Moore was a native of Buncombe County and had resided in Madison County the past 25 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and was very active with the keenagers at Merrimon Avenue Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Digiovanni and Nora Vivian Teague Digiovanni and the wife of Rev. John C. Moore who died in 1998. Surviving are her daughter, Virginia Parham and husband Lebron, grandchildren, Tracy Parham and Scott Parham, great granddaughter, Ashley Parker all of Candler. Funeral services will be held 3 P.M. Thursday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Lomax officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Marshall. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home and at other times, the family will be at the home of her daughter, 136 Oak Hill Road, Candler.
