Nora Lee Fisher Pruitt

ASHEVILLE Nora Lee Sherlin Fisher Pruitt, 83, formerly of 16 Brownwood Ave., passed away Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Blue Ridge Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Pruitt was a native of Madison County and was a resident of Buncombe County since 1964. She was the daughter of the late John Luther Sherlin and Orpha Fagen Sherlin and the wife of the late Thomas William Pruitt. Surviving are her son, Robert Bob Luther Fisher of Waterford, PA; step-son, David Pruitt; step-daughters, Carolyn P. Fish and Kathy Smith; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Rev. Jeter Sherlin of Marshall. Graveside services will be held 2 PM Saturday at the Creasman Cemetery in Marshall. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 pm Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
