Nettie Mabel Morgan

Fairview - Nettie Mabel Plemmons Morgan, 77, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at the Asheville Specialty Hospital following a period of declining health. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was a homemaker and member of Riverside Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Morgan was a daughter of the late Burder Rickman Plemmons and Sally Mae Smith Plemmons and the wife of the late William Lake Morgan. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Harold Plemmons. Surviving are her sisters, Virginia M. Plemmons Corn of Asheville and Mickey Plemmons Camby and husband, Bob of Fairview; sister in law, Betty Plemmons of Candler; several nieces and nephews; many special friends including James and Pat Penley of Asheville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. John Honeycutt and Sonya Honeycutt officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be Johnny, Jason and Chris Honeycutt, Rick Corn, Mitch McAbee and Chad Camby. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home and at other times the family will be at the home of Sonya Honeycutt, 5 Mountain Terrace, Asheville.
