Nancy Ann Rodier Callahan

Nancy Ann Rodier Callahan, 63, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 2, 2021 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of Mary Weber of Fletcher and the late Arthur Rodier. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Spurgeon “J.R.” Junior Callahan, III. Nancy worked for more that 20 years for McDonalds at various locations and was currently employed with Krispy Kreme on Patton Avenue for the past 10 + years. She was a compassionate, loving, outgoing, and kind person that never met a stranger and was always willing to go the extra mile to help others. Surviving in addition to her mother, Mary Weber, are her sister, Mildred Rodier of CA; brothers: Norman Rodier of TX and Michael Rodier of AL; nieces and nephews: Mia and Sheila of CA, Johnathan of IA, Lauryn of MA, Caroline of IA, and Adam of AL; and her cat, Baby J, and many cousins, extended family, and friends. A memorial service will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, July 10, 2021, in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11 AM till 12 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
