Mozelle Searcy

Fletcher Mozelle Keever Searcy, 77, entered her Heavenly Home on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals with her family by her side. Mozelle was born July 18, 1939 to the late Charles Winslow and Katie Ann Keever. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald; sons, Donald Eugene and Bruce Michael Searcy and a brother, Edward Keever. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Dean Cagle of Mills River; son and daughter-in-law, David and Kathy Searcy of Oakley; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby Joe and Joyce Keever of Candler; 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday, January 16, 2017 in the chapel of the Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Oakley. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 PM Monday at the funeral home. She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother and will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
