Monroe Carmel Bullman

June 19, 1941 — January 27, 2021

Candler – Monroe Carmel Bullman, 79, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his residence. A native of Madison County, he was a son of the late William Grant McKinley Bullman and Etta Thomas Bullman. He was also preceded in death by his sisters: Edna Norton, Bea Bullman, Dot Gosnell, and Ina Mae DeBruhl; and a brother, Chester Bullman. Mr. Bullman was a U.S. Navy Veteran and following his military service he worked briefly for Square D and then with Wells Fargo Armored Car Service for many years. He attended Sunrise Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a sweet, kind, and easy going person who was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Roma Letterman Bullman; son, Jason McKinley Bullman and wife Karen of Houston, TX; grandsons: Bryce and Ethan; brother, Homer Bullman of Madison County; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service to honor Mr. Bullman’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to: Sunrise Baptist Church, 419 Deaverview Road, Asheville, NC 28806.
