Mitch Fouts

Asheville – Jeffery Mitchell “Mitch” Fouts, 64, of 11 Mountainbrook Rd., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at his residence. Mitch was a native of Franklin, NC and had resided in Asheville for most of his life where he graduated from Asheville High School and received his BS degree in Business from UNCA. He was former owner & operator of the Northside Grill and College Street Bar & Grill, a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church and was the son of the late Dolpha Delano Fouts and step-son of the late Lee Roy Major. Surviving are his daughter, Bailee Fouts; mother, Barbara Ann Crews Major; former wife and mother of his daughter, Veronica Kattermann and his best friend and business partner, Jim Medford. Memorial services will be held 2PM, Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Beverly Hills Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Steve Harris officiating.
