Miriam Rowland Ferg

Arden - Miriam Rowland Ferg, of the Laurels of Greentree Ridge formerly of Crescent View Retirement Community died Monday, March 31, 2003 at Laurels of Greentree Ridge. A native of Johnstown, PA. She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church, the Order of the Eastern Star in Washington, PA where she was past Worthy Matron, member of Asheville Quilt Guild and East Asheville Quilters. She was an avid bridge player for many years. She was the daughter of the late Edmond George and Mary Dudenhoffer Rowland and wife of the late Harold Grant Ferg. Surviving are her son, Nelson M. Ferg and wife, Jeanne of Asheville; daughter, Mardell Ann Williamson and husband, Wray of Sun City Center, FL, son, R. Scott Ferg and wife, Penny of Chambersberg, PA; brother, Edmond L. ?Bud? Rowland and wife, Helene of Johnstown, PA; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2003 at Calvary Episcopal Church with Father Clem Gunn and Father Vic Mansfield officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial services at the church.
