Milo Mrazek

Asheville - Milo Mrazek, 88, died Monday March 10, 2003 at Mountain Area Hospice after an extended battle with cancer. A native of New York City, NY. He had resided in Buncombe County since 1976. He was a son of the late Joseph and Ada Mrazek. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Lela Mae Barbee Mrazek of Pisgah Manor; son, Fred W. Ligon, Jr. and wife, Pearl of Leicester; granddaughters, Holly Marie Wilkes and husband, Tom of Marion and Sharon Mae Stanley and husband, Eugene of Leicester and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. John Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. The family request no flowers and memorials may be made to: Mountain Area Hospice, P.O. Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.
