Mildred H. Maxwell

Asheville - Mildred H. Maxwell, 86, of Asheville, died Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Heather Glen Assisted Living Center. Mildred was born November 12, 1921. She was a native of McDowell County, but resided in Buncombe County for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Herman Edgar and Essie Bright Hensley, and the wife of the late Albert Richard Maxwell. Surviving are her daughter, Diane Hutchison and husband Jim of Asheville; two grandchildren: Scott Hutchison and wife Candy of Dallas, TX, and Jenny Early and husband Dan of Asheville; three great-grandchildren: Annelise Hutchison, Isaac Hutchison, and Benjamin Early; brother, Fred Hensley of San Diego, CA; and sister, Gwen DiGirolimo of Schenectady, NY. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday at Green Hills Cemetery. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the Maxwell family.
