Miguel Angel Perez-Lopez

Leicester – Miguel Angel Perez-Lopez, 46, passed from this life into his heavenly home on Sunday, April 9, 2023.

Miguel was born on July 11, 1976 in Mexico City, Mexico to Florentino Perez-Martinez and Cristina Lopez. He grew up in Ixmiquilpan, Mexico and moved to Buncombe County in 2001 where he worked as a construction contractor. Miguel faithfully attended Iglesia Cristiana Monte de Sion, where he enjoyed serving and praising the Lord.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 25 years, Alicia Cruz-Maldonado; children: Yetzi Perez-Cruz and husband Jacobo, and Brian Angel Perez-Cruz; parents: Florentino Perez-Martinez and Cristina Lopez; sister, Olivia Perez-Lopez; brother, Heriberto Perez-Lopez and wife Cecilia; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 6 pm on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Iglesia Cristiana Monte de Sion, 31 Dix Creek Chapel Rd, Asheville, NC 28806, with Pastor Leo Umanzor officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church for 1 hour prior and immediately following the service on Friday at the church.
