Michelle Renee Ray

Asheville - Michelle Renee Ray, 25, of 5 Kilkenny Drive died unexpectantly Tuesday, January 15, 2002 at Memorial Mission Hospital. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was a child care provider and the daughter of Michael Dale Ray of the home and the late Mary Ray. Surviving in addition to her father are her children, Savannah, Briana and Colby all of the home; sisters, Angela Ball and Melissa Reed both of Asheville; brother, Charles L. Crain, Jr. of Asheville: maternal grandmother, Arsula Penland of Skyland; paternal grandmother, Edna Ray of Bradenton, Florida; nephews Brandon, Tyler, Ethan and Chase; nieces, Brooklee and Candice and lifelong friend, Brian A. Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Hare officiating. Burial will be in Penland Cemetery, Skyland.
