Leicester - Michael Patrick Berry, 26, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2000.
Michael was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County, a telephone system installer, and member of Freedom Baptist Church.
Surviving are his parents, Vaughn Ellis Berry and Nancy Bowlin Hensley; Sons: Logan and Jonathan; brother, Sonny Berry; step-sister, Stephanie Hensley; step-brother, Mark Hensley; paternal grandmother, Clara Berry; maternal grandmother, Eleanor Bowlin; paternal great-grandmother, Iva Messer.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Tuesday, March 7, 2000, at Corinth Baptist Church. Revs. Charles Surrett and Bob Chuprevich officiated. Burial was at the church cemetery.
The family received friends for one hour prior to the service.
