Michael "Grizzly" Ramsey

Candler – Michael Bruce “Grizzly” Ramsey, 63, went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 30, 2021. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mr. Ramsey was the son of the late Bruce and Betty Tomberlin Ramsey. He was owner & operator of Grizzly’s Truck Service and attended Trinity Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Sebrina England “Sam” Ramsey of the home; daughters, Leslie Ramsey Meadows and husband Gary of Candler and Sabrina Ramsey Pitchford and husband, Garett of Waynesville; granddaughters, Haylan Brooke Meadows of Candler and Madison Lee Pitchford of Waynesville; sisters, Vickie Side and husband, Jim, Becky Ramsey and Michelle Willis and husband, Paul; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends who he will be sadly missed by. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Trinity Baptist Church, with Rev. Dr. Ralph Sexton and Rev. Allen Rash officiating. Mask and social distancing will be required.
