Michael A. Gray

Asheville - Michael Avery Gray, 42, of 600 Merrimon Ave. Apt. 9-A died Monday September, 8, 2003, at the Mountain Area Hospice Solace Center after an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Asheville, he was a graduate of Erwin High School, attended Mars Hill College and graduated from UNCA. He was employed with the UNCA Safety Dept. and loved to sing karaoke. He was the son of Virgil A. Gray of 10 Larue St. and the late Mildred B. Gray who died August 28th, 2003. Surviving in addition to father are his aunt, Beulah Brown of Shelby; several cousins; his dog Maggie and his cat Chloe and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. John David Stewart officiating. Memorials may be made to: Mt. Area Hospice, P.O.
