May Keith Silver

Marshall May Keith Silver, 96, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Elderberry Health Care Center. She was born in Madison County, May 20, 1920, to the late Tilman Anderson Silver and Eliza Mary Keith Silver. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Rex Leo Silver. She resided in Buncombe County since 1951 and was employed as secretary with the Buncombe County Health Department until retirement in 1972. Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including Jess Fisher, Dan Fisher, Mark Fisher, Jeffery Fisher, Joy Shepard, and Lisa Ball. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, April 28, 2017 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Rash officiating. Burial will follow at the Laurel Branch Cemetery in Marshall. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
