Mary Robinson

Mary Hayes Robinson, 87, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at her home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mrs. Robinson was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Ethel Ingle Hayes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Robinson, who passed away March 14, 2007; daughter, Delia Stroupe; and 1 sister and 3 brothers. Surviving are her son, Curtis Robinson and wife Marilyn; grandchildren: John, Tiffany, Stephanie, Sean, Joseph, and Emma; great-grandchildren: Cheyenne, Sierra, Courtney, Alicia, Trent, Tyler, Vylet, Donald and Brayden; great, great-grandson: Christopher McCall; and special friend, Billy Griffin. Memorial services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 3:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
