Mary Pressley

Asheville Mary Elizabeth Wilson Pressley, 85, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mrs. Pressley was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, sewing and reading. She was the daughter of the late Kerman Wesley and Sadie Laura Morrison Wilson, and the wife of the late Wilbur Arthur Pressley. Mrs. Pressley was also preceded in death by a sister, Jane Ella, and brother, George Pressley. Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Ronald M. Mickey Pressley and wife Madge of Greenville, SC, Donald G. Pressley and wife Judy of Fairview, Wilbur Butch Pressley, II of Asheville, Kerman Dooby Pressley and wife Melinda of Fairview, and Jane Carswell and husband Wayne of Morganton; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Jenkins of Weaverville; brothers: Harry Wilson of Asheville and John Wilson of Greensburg, PA; and many other relatives and friends who loved Mary.
