Mary McMahan Crosby

Mary McMahan Crosby, 68, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 25, 2025, at Mission Hospital.

 A native of Jacksonville, FL, she was a daughter of the late Warren Kenneth McMahan and Merita Dorothy Hill McMahan. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Clifford “Skipper” McMahan.

 Mary worked in the Bakery at Ingles store number five for many years. She was known for her sense of humor, always brightening the lives of those around her. She was always generous and loved her family more than anything. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

 Surviving are her children: Donald Eugene Crosby and wife Barbara, and Amy Rebecca Crosby and husband Jeffrey Simon; sister, Donna Wells and husband David; nieces: Lauren Ipsaro and husband Tim, and their daughter, Julia, and Lindsay Wells and husband Alan Smith; and many cousins and extended family.

 A private service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.

 In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation at sarges.org.
