Martha Faye Sherlin

Asheville – Martha Faye Sherlin, 58, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023, at the Memorial Mission Hospital.

A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County she was a daughter of the late James Jackson Sherlin and Patricia Mae Jones.

Martha enjoyed spending time creating crafts and fellowshipping with friends at the Open Hearts Arts Center.

Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved sisters: Glenda Renee Banks and husband Bill, and Evelyn Hyatt and husband Bobby; niece, Rachel Hyatt; nephews: William Lee Banks, and Michael Harrin and wife Missy; and great-nieces and great-nephew: Ruby Mae Banks, Camillia Kennedy Harrin, Malachi Harrin, and Clancy Harrin.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Calvary Churchyard, 2840 Hendersonville Road, Fletcher, North Carolina, 28732, with Rev. Gwen Hall officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12 till 1 prior to the service at the cemetery.
