Mark Isac Brown

January 31, 1935 — September 21, 2007

Candler Mark Isac Brown, 72, formerly of 41 Grooms Road died Friday, September 21, 2007 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Haywood County, he was a Korean War Veteran of the U.S. Navy and was employed by the WNC Pallet Company. Mr. Brown was a son of the late Frank Isac Brown and Blanche King Brown and the husband of Eva Leota Crowder Brown who died March 20, 2006. Surviving are his brothers, Doyle and Jack Brown both of Clyde and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday at New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Furman Wilson officiating. Memorials may be made to Mountain Area Hospice, P.O. Box 25338, Asheville, N.C. 28813 or to one's favorite charity.
