Spindale – Marisol Campo, 66, passed away on June 5, 2023, at her home.
A native of Santa Clara La Villa, Cuba, she was a daughter of the late Pablo De La Cruz Campo and Herminia Soe Cobo.
She competed well in a male dominated industry, as first, a car salesperson, then a service writer for over 20 years. She was well known for being an animal lover all her life and for her outgoing and fantastic sense of humor. We will always remember her beautiful smile and delightful laugh.
Surviving are her companion, Nick Davis; children: Jessie Casanova-Maldonado, Monica Bacallao , and her favorite Albert Arguelles II; grandchildren: Rachel Michelle Bacallao, Alyssa Christine Bacallao, Drake Elijah Arguelles, Jeremiah Eliezer Maldonado, Ella Mae Arguelles, Albert Henry Arguelles III, Genevieve Renee Bacallao, and last but not least everyone’s little surprise, Liam Curtis Arguelles; sister, Mercedes Campo; nephews: Paul Robert Campo Thompson, and Patrick Campo Thompson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Shoff officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 till 2 pm at the funeral home prior to services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marisol’s memory to: Your local animal shelter.
