Margaret L. Jordan

Asheville - Margaret Louise Roberts Jordan, 80, of 222 Glendale Avenue died Thursday, September 18, 2003 at her residence. Mrs. Jordan was a native of Madison County and had resided in Buncombe County since 1941. She was a Housekeeper and a daughter of the late Mitchell Washington and Rosie Ann Buckner Roberts and the wife of the late Howard Wilson Jordan. Surviving are her daughters, Wanda Calloway and husband, Johnny of Asheville and Cathy Kelly and husband, Donald of Brunswick, GA; brother, Paul Roberts and wife, Elizabeth and their family of Fletcher; special grandson, Jimmy Jordan of Asheville and very special great grand daughter, Sierra Jordan of Black Mountain. Private burial was held Friday at Snow Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Candler. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to her niece, Ruth Creasman and husband, Jim and her nephew, Carroll Roberts for their love and care given to our Mother. Anders-Rice Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
