Marcia Christopher Plemmons

Candler - Marcia Joan Christopher Plemmons, 65, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020, at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late William Buckner and Hilda Buckner. Mrs. Plemmons was a longtime member of Liberty Baptist Church and was a loving mother and grandmother. Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Vanessa Plemmons, and Travis Plemmons and wife Michelle; father of her children, Randy Plemmons and wife Ann; grandchildren: Austin Plemmons and Michaela Plemmons; sisters: Diane Foster, and Debbie Blankenship; niece, Belinda Foster; and nephews: Andy Foster, Scott Foster, and Matthew Blankenship. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Liberty Baptist Church, 875 Monte Vista Rd, Candler, NC 28715, with Rev. Derrick McCarson officiating. Burial will follow at Hice Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 PM Tuesday at the church.
