Malynda Morgan

Candler Malynda Carol Henson Morgan, 66, of 109 Fairmont Road went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at her home. A native of Macon County. She had resided in Buncombe County most of her life and was a member of Hominy Baptist Church. Mrs. Morgan was a daughter of the late Carter Wesley Henson and Nellie Ann Cabe Henson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Leonard Morris Henson. Surviving are her husband, Lucius B. Morgan of the home; step son, Lucius B. Morgan, Jr. of Pinedale, WY; sister, Shirley Ann Miller and husband Chip of Candler; brothers, Wayne Andrew Henson of Belton, MO and Farrell Eugene Henson and wife Glenda of Gastonia; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Thursday at Hominy Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Joe Yelton officiating. Burial will follow in Hominy Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:15 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. Thursday at the church.
