Mae Thomas

Oakley Lillie Mae Thomas, 76, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. Mrs. Thomas was a native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County and was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Muse and Ella Elizabeth English Johnston and wife of Albright Donald Thomas who died October 12, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her son, Lonnie Thomas and granddaughter, Jennifer Sprinkle. Surviving are her great granddaughter with whom she raised, Summer; daughter, Wilma Sprinkle (Jobe); sons, Donald K. Thomas, Johnny Thomas, John Henry Thomas; grandchildren, Chris (Jennifer), Adam (Ashley), Jonathan and Kerrie; great grandchildren, Autumn, Ashton, Daidrien, Kaiden, Taliyah, Jennifer, Hailey and her boys Ethan & Lane and special friends, Ruth Harmon and Helen Pruitt. Memorial services will be held 11 AM Saturday, March 23, 2013 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Pierce and Larry Dotson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
