She was preceded in death by her husbands, Reagan Roberts and Daitus Payne, sisters: Elsie Hopkins, Robbie Willis, and Sadie Wilson, and a brother and sister in infancy. She was a homemaker and one of the best biscuit makers around. She loved to sit on her porch, drink coffee, and feed the birds and squirrels. She was Mamaw to the young people in the neighborhood. Survivors include her daughter, Claudine Suttles-Hyatt and husband Timothy Hyatt of Liecester; sons: Stallard Roberts of Charlotte, Charles Roberts and wife Judy of White Pine, TN, and Stewart Roberts and wife Donna of Liecester; brother Bob Davis of Havre De Grace, MD; grandchildren: Stephen and Angela Suttles, Mark and Rachael Roberts, Kristy Roberts, Charles Roberts, Tina Landi, Erika Roberts, and Bradley Roberts; eight great-grandchildren; best friend and neighbor, Belle Arrington; and daughter-in-law Mary Ann Roberts. The family would like to say a big Thank You to the staff at Pisgah Manor. The CNAs and nurses are great.
