Lucy "Nadine" Lail

Asheville – Lucy “Nadine” Norton Lail, 76, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at The Laurels of Green Tree Ridge.

She was born in Madison County and was a Pastor’s wife and Seamstress, and the daughter of the late Clarence Bartley Norton and Edith Sweeten Norton.

Surviving are her husband, Johnny Luther Lail; children: Ronald Lee Cook and wife, Tina and Johnathan Dale Cook; step daughter, Rebecca Sue Biddix and husband, Ray; grandchildren: Joshua Cook, Jericho Cook, Pressley, Jordan Cook, Ashley Cook, John Cook and Tabitha Cook; brothers: Tommy Norton and wife, Phyllis and Glenn Norton and wife, Francis, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, July 27, 2024, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Pastor Ramona Nix officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the funeral home.
