Lucinda Lynn Knapp Robinson

Asheville – Lucinda Lynn Knapp Robinson, 53, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of Helen Tweed Chandler of Asheville, and the late Porter Lee Knapp, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her brother, David Lee Knapp. Lucinda worked for Mountain Energy as a manager for more than 20 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, and will be greatly missed. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband of 12 years, Kevin Shawn Robinson; children: Amber Ducker and husband Tommy of Asheville, Shawn Metcalf and wife Holly of Hendersonville, Brandon Metcalf and wife Jessica of Brevard, and Lance Fenhaus and wife Stacy of Herford, AZ; father of her children, James Michael Metcalf; grandchildren: Drake Blane Metcalf and Randalyn Harper Metcalf; sister, Dorothy Louise Silver and husband Scott of Canton; brother, Porter Lee Knapp, Jr. and wife Kathy of Asheville; and four nieces and three nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Saturday, June 19, 2021 in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Rev. Steve Brockwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 till 3 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
