Lucille M. Bouvet

Asheville - Lucille M. Bouvet passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community. She was born on November 29, 1925 in Bethesda, MD. She attended Strayer Business College in Washington, D.C. and was employed by the Federal Government in the Public Health Service and later by Admiralty Lawyers in Washington, D.C. In 1948, she married James H. Bouvet. They moved to Richmond, VA briefly while her husband was employed there, then returned to Bethesda, MD. She was employed by the Public School System as a Teachers Aide until retiring in 1984, then moved to Asheville and in 2005, moved to Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community. Mrs. Bouvet was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Henry Bouvet of 61 years. Surviving are her grandson, Eric Bouvet and wife Kellie and two great grandchildren, Morgan and Colin. Memorial services will be held 2 P.M. Friday, October 28, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church of Asheville with Pastors Margaret Torrence and Mark Burnham officiating.
