Lucille G. Fore

Asheville - Lucille G. Fore, 91, died Thursday January 2, 2003 at The Oaks at Sweeten Creek. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was a member of Oakley Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Lonnie and Jessie Pressley Garren and wife of the late Paul J. Fore, Sr. who died in 1996. She was the loving mother of daughters, Billie Solesbee and husband, Dewey of Asheville, Betty Stroupe of Asheville; sons, Ray Fore and wife, Millie of Fletcher and Paul Fore, Jr. and wife, Wanda of Arden; loving grandmother of grandsons, Mike and Tim Solesbee, Ronnie and Travis Fore, Joey and Greg Osborne and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 at the funeral home. Flowers are appreciated and accepted.
