Greensboro – Sara Lucille Allman Brown Robinson, 92, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Lucille was born in Henderson County, resided in Buncombe County most all of her life until moving to Greensboro, North Carolina in 2010. She was a daughter of the late James Thomas Allman and May Morgan Allman and was also preceded in death by her first husband, James Dewey Brown and second husband, Henry Ennis “Smokey” Robinson. She graduated from Emma High School, Cecil’s Business College, and Western Academy in Asheville North Carolina. Mrs. Robinson attended Grace Baptist Church in Asheville and Hazelwood Baptist Church in Hazelwood, North Carolina. During her professional career she worked at Aston Stikeleather Insurance Agency, Bell Distributing Company, and served as Office Administrator for over 37 years at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Surviving are her daughter, Beverly Brown Wright and husband, Dr. Patrick Eugene Glenn Wright, Jr.; grandchildren, James Patrick McKinley Wright and Sarah Ellen Wright Weaver and husband, Brandon Michael Weaver; great granddaughter, Liliana Marie Weaver; and special friends, Jackie and Spencer Kent. Funeral Service for family and close friends will be held at 11 AM, Monday, March 1, 2021 in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. J. Michael Brown officiating. Facial mask and social distancing will be required. Graveside services will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
