Louise Watts

Asheville Alice Louise Herron Watts, 94, of 318 Brickyard Road, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Stonega, VA, she had resided in Buncombe County since 1962. Mrs. Watts was the daughter of the late Harvey Thomas Herron and Etta Barbara Ramey Herron and wife of Muriel Dewey Watts who died August 28, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene Watts; grandson, Sean Watts; two brothers and four sisters. Surviving are her children, Don Watts (Fran) of Youngsville, NC, Sharon Fretz (Ray) of Perkasie, PA, Steve Watts of Hendersonville, Barbara Epps (Talmadge) of Campobello, SC and Janet Truett (Michael) of Fletcher; grandchildren, Andrew Watts (Janeen), Greg Cressman, Suzanne Senkiewicz (Todd), Lori Cressman, Mason Truett and Jessica Truett; great grandchildren, Holly, Ty and Chase Senkiewicz and Elise Watts and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, March 13, 2016 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Joy Lambert officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following services at the funeral home. Entombment will be held at 2 PM Monday, March 14, 2016 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
