Louise Shipman

Asheville – Nellie Louise Robinson Shipman, 86, formerly of 6 Cisco Road, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Buncombe County, she was a homemaker and a daughter of the late Lewis Moore Robinson and Christine Bobbie Moore Robinson. She was the former wife of Bobby Monroe Shipman who died in 1999 and was also preceded in death by her sons, Robert Shipman and Bobby Shipman, Jr. Surviving are her children, Jimi Radford, Gary Radford, Sr and wife, Betty, Steve Radford, Denise Inman and husband Gary, Tricia Camby and Russell Shipman and wife, Shannon; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
