Louise Rice "Mammie" Plemmons

Asheville - Louise Mammie Rice Plemmons, 86, of 200 Tunnel Road, Apt #426 died Sunday, March 9, 2003 at Memorial Mission Hospital. A native of Old Fort she had resided in Swannanoa for most of her life and was the wife of the late William Hubert Plemmons. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Carl Jack Plemmons, Tommy Plemmons and Charles Plemmons. Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Schultz and husband, C.B. of Asheville; son, Carroll A. Plemmons of Asheville; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Vest officiating. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
