Lou Ann Deweese Sealey

December 11, 1931 — September 24, 2024

Leicester – Lou Ann Deweese Sealey, 92, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Camdenton, Missouri.


A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she retired as a Saleslady with Sky City Department Store for 15 years, was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and was past WMU president and church organist for over 40 years.


She was the daughter of the late Alvin Olsen Deweese and Etta Mae Harwood Deweese. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Horace Sealey who died February 9, 2006.


Surviving are her son, Freddie Alvin Sealey and wife, Michelle and daughter, Martha Ann Treankler and husband, Glen; grandchildren: Matthew, Shawnna, Timothy, and Cheryl; great grandchildren: Aspen, Raven, Alexia, Samantha, Lilly, Natasha, and Damien.


Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 17, 2024, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Townsend officiating. Burial will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.


The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 till 11 AM at the funeral home.


Anders-Rice Funeral Home and Cremation Center is honored to serve the Sealey family.
