Lorene Wilson

Asheville - Lorene Buckner Wilson, 69, of 547 Eliada Home Road Apt #218 died Monday January 3, 2011. She was a native and resident of Buncombe County for most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Gus and Lee Buckner and the wife of the late Bob Wilson, Sr. She was also preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Lily Angel Winsell; sisters, Margaret Jones, Betty Erwin and Ann Giles and brothers, Douglas and Howard Clark. Surviving are her daughters, Brenda Tener of Asheville, Barbara DeBruhl of Asheville and Belinda Smith and husband Mitch of North Wilkesboro; son, Bob Wilson, Jr. and wife Sissy of Asheville; 9 grandchildren, Brandon Freeman, Joseph Garcia, Amanda, Tiffany and Ashley DeBruhl, Jake Murdock, Allison and Tre' Wilson and Wyatt Taylor and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Homer Murdock officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Bob Wilson, Jr. 135 Stradley Mountain Road.
