Lonnie Louis Robertson

Asheville – Lonnie L. Robertson, 86, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. Mr. Robertson was the son of the late Albert and Tommie Lee Rhodes Robertson. He was also preceded in death by his first wife of 33 years, Reva Ward Robertson; and a sister, Peggy Robertson. Surviving are his daughter, Angela Robertson (Roger); son, Michael Robertson (Brenda) and their children: Melanie and Christy; brother, Larry Robertson (Ginger) and their children: Teresa and Little Larry; wife, Shirley Robertson (Joyce, Regina, Jimmy, Rosie, Amber, Adam, Jennifer and Jamie). Mr. Robertson will always be remembered as a loving family man who never met a stranger. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Tillery Cemetery in Marshall, with the Rev. Larry Sprinkle officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852, or at www.kidneyfund.org.
